3 Ways Your Journal Is Better Than A Best Friend
If you have a best friend, you can be a journaler.
So many people fear free journaling.
Are you one of them? If you answer yes, I have another question. Do you fear talking to your best friend? You probably answer ‘no’ to that question.
The benefits of talking to your best friend are the same as free journaling. Almost. There are more benefits to free journaling.
Your best friends are there for you. They listen. They help you brainstorm and problem-solve. You can cry on your friend’s shoulder and talk about your dreams.
But do you do this every day? You need to give your best friend equal time to lean on you.
I prefer free journaling because it’s like talking to your best friend and more.
Not even your best friend is available 24/7. Sure, they will take that call in the middle of the night. But every day? Your best friend has a life, too. If you are like me, you weigh what you will burden your best friend with.
You need someone you can tell everything. I share with my friends. They know a lot about me, but they don’t know everything. I’m not sure they want to know everything. One of my friends admitted they had dark thoughts they didn’t want to share.
