Journaling Changes Your Mindset
This is a no-brainer concept, but I had to figure it out on my own.
Mindset makes or breaks your success in life’s endeavors.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I’m in good physical health for a 65-year-old. However, keeping my two granddaughters overnight exhausts me.
They are good children. I’m not chasing them around the house or wrestling on the floor. I am going up and down stairs, getting up and down from the floor, and lifting the youngest.
It’s exhausting and makes me sore. My muscles scream, “How old do you think you are?” I don’t want to be a decrepit grandma. I want to feel like I’m much younger than my true age.
I know exactly what I need to do to solve this problem. Walking 2 miles a day, even with hills, isn’t enough. I need to lose ten pounds and build some muscle.
If I know this, why am I not doing anything consistently?
Journaling is a tool that changes your mindset.
Just yesterday, I realized I wasn’t using the tools I already had. I’m not talking about hand weights (although I definitely need to use those, too.).
